Good on you! There are plenty of folks out there who would still take on the homemaker role, but don’t think it possible any more (not with two incomes being seen as mandatory) or feel like they would be seen as traitors to their sex (both female and male). [Side note: I was going that route myself at one point — stay at home dad while my first wife stayed in the Navy and we moved where her career took her — but life went differently, as life does.] An author who can put together lessons from actual experience will be useful. And (bonus!) you can tell people at parties how much fun you had at your recent book signing.
