Good for y’all, Bruce! 👏 Hang in there until they have to carry you out. And we wish that was an option for us, but…

I am undergoing “cognitive decline,” due to a TBI I suffered in 1982 (which impaired me then to the point I was medically disqualified from nuke submarines) and a family history of dementia, from both parents. Maybe I will still be able to still function when I get to your age 🤞but more likely I will have Bad Days more and more often, until they just become days, and people start remarking on my Good Days. (“Jack’s having a Good Day — he remembers my name and we’re married and everything!”) I want to be in a facility with memory care on campus, so Deb can visit when she wants but doesn’t have her life revolving around keeping me from wandering into traffic as I try to go home to my wife or dead parents. 😐
