FWIW, kat, some sons get to have this on repeating loop in their heads all the time every day, too. I also have tinnitus; it’s a constant buzzing in my ears all the time, like cicadas living in my ears, making some conversations hard and some environments impossible to listen in. If I got to pick which to get rid of, I’d keep the tinnitus. The tinnitus doesn’t hurt me anymore.
