FWIW: Most people who know me from Medium would recognize me IRL, personality-wise. I tend to be less restrained here, in some ways, and more restrained in others. It’s the freedom of not having interactions have long-term personal consequences (>>less) while being able to think through something before committing to it (>>more). I like to think I am a little kinder and less standoffish on Medium; IRL most strangers make me cautious and withdrawn. And I’m less likely to geeksplain on Medium.

Also: no auto-correct or ex post facto editing for face-to-face. Makes a difference.
