FWIW, Jan, my wife and I spent a good half-hour looking for my car keys after coming back from a visit. Fortunately it was late, so we didn't go back to where we'd stayed (but I was ready to do so the next day — using Deb's keys, of course), so when I unpacked my shaving kit I found my keys inside.

What?

My only rationale was that I had taken some diabetes medicine from my emergency stash (on my keychain, so I won't lose it) and then my hindbrain had somehow identified my keys as a pill container and put them in my kit bag where my other traveling pill holders lived. This was about ten years ago, btw.

We have no kids.

Thank heavens!
