Four season, Gail! Cute little HVAC system in the corner, does heat and cold as needed. Glass (nicely insulated, for heat & cold) and screens. Our old deck had a lovely screened awning system that kept out the bugs but let in the temps. Much happier now!

We depart for our two-week vacation (first couple days in Vancouver BC, last couple in Denali National Park AK, shipboard in between) in early May. I probably won’t be doing much posting then, although who knows? Our last cruise (2010, 10th anniversary) had onboard Internet for horrible costs and dial-up speeds; this time things are more modern, plus we’ll be plying the coastal passage and passing near wireless towers more frequently (maybe) while also seeing glaciers, whales, and assorted wildlife.
