But put violins in the hands of a dozen middle schoolers… the vibrations reverberate through the bleacher benches and loosen fillings. (Our nieces and nephews sang, but their middle school combined chorus and orchestra concerts. We were soooooo glad when the kids moved on to high school!) Something about strings plus bows? You musical folks can probably explain it.
