Deb is three years older than me, Mary, but looks younger. [DEB: You mean 3.75 years. Three years, nine months. 9/12=.75. Really, you could say “four” and I wouldn’t mind.] She has salt & pepper hair, but I have a beard that’s 90% sodium chloride and a bald spot that starts just above my eyebrows and proceeds beyond the horizon, so casual glances find it easy to decide I’m older. As I am reminded when we get “one senior, one adult” tickets and they hand the senior ticket to me. 😐
