Deb is laying off the squirrels since she’s back to working part-time at the tax firm she was at last year (until the state shut everything down); she’ll be there until April. Sometimes she’ll glare fiercely at them, however. Fraidy Squirrel will dash for the hills; Corn Squirrel will head back for the corn or pretend he was REALLY interested in the seed on the ground. Skippy will look back at her for a second, give her a glare like, “Ha! You got nuthin’!” and go back to eating the suet.
