We have a friend, Deb’s old boss Fran, who is in her 70s and is knowledgeable about women’s clothing. And accessories. And shoes. Because she has a LOT of all of those. As Deb discovered when Deb helped her downsize from her 4-bedroom house to a two-bedroom apartment.

ME: (walking around Fran’s old house after Deb had helped clean it out, when it was getting ready to go on the market) Wow, it feels so roomy! Wait, where did the wine cellar come from?

DEB: She’s always had it. You don’t recognize it because it had clothes in it.

ME: Full up! And it’s a BIG wine cellar!¹ Wait, is this the room where the furs were? That makes sense, I guess, furs need to be climate controlled.
