Six caroling forth their tidings of joy, while a seventh lends howls (but he’s a good boy!)

These carol figures belonged to Deb’s mom, who had a story for each of them. The four in the middle are a family who were singing through their neighborhood; the flower girl (left) and actress (right) were on their way to their respective jobs, but stopped to lend their voices. Nobody knows where the dog came from, but he wanted to join in for whatever reason. There was also a policeman in Mom’s collection, who had a package behind his back; Mom said he’d bought it off another vendor to give to the actress, on whom he had a crush. Alas, when the family was dividing up the carolers after Mom’s death, the copper went with our niece, so now he’ll never give her that gift.
