Boomer here. One thing I’ve noticed among my Millennial colleagues and relatives is that romance, sex, marriage, and kids are just as important to current 20-somethings as they were back when I fit that age group; it’s just that the order isn’t as important as it was way back when. In at least two cases, it wasn’t so much starting a marriage until after the first kid as holding off The Wedding (An Event For The Ages) until they could afford it; the couples were already in committed relationships that might as well have been marriages. But taking that kind of thing into account would skew Will’s narrative.
