At the funeral for my father-in-law, the most common comment was, "He gave the best hugs!"

Dad would move slowly the first time he would hug a particular person, but after that he would take it for granted that hugs were allowed. He was a Presbyterian pastor, and he saw hugs as being part of his ministry to people.
