As a happily married person, Loreann, I totally agree with you. My wife and I agree that part of our attraction for each other is that we both were happy and adjusted to being single when we met. We had no need to find The One (we’d both been through previous marriages where THAT hadn’t worked out), and we just enjoyed each other’s company sharing lunch time at work. Friendship became something more, but not because we were desperate not to be single. And we’re still good friends after 19 years!
