Annie, I never worked up the nerve to try oysters. I’ve done dried octopus (rubber bands) and dried squid (crunchy rubber bands) and fried calamari (not too bad, actually), and I love clam chowder, but the best argument anyone gave me for oysters was, “Cover ‘em with sauce, let ‘em slide down your throat, and you won’t even taste ‘em!” And the point then would be…?
