Break up a long rambling paragraph into three shorts ones, then get rid of one of the three because it says the same thing as the other two? Find which period on a page of printed text (just the period, mind) is bold? [I had an editor who could do that. Scary-ass attention to detail, that one, although she had other strange qualities too.]
