While I realize that an episode like this may, perhaps, be somewhat humorous to the female readership, to hetero males this is a poignant reminder of the travails through which we went in our early pubescent years, struggling with the demands of society and the irrational yearnings of our changing bodies. I salute Gabe’s sober & straightforward documentation of one such adolescent milestone.
