Ah yes, they have crossed into that age of, OMG, my clothes will get wet (horror!)! As opposed to the younger years — ooooohhhh, my clothes will get wet (cool!)! I wonder how much is based on personal responsibility? Reaction to younger kids from responsible adults: Oh, honey, let’s get you out of those cold wet clothes! Reaction to older kids: uh-huh, you got yourself wet, you can sit in soggy clothes the rest of the day, not MY problem. 😁
