Ah! I forgot — when you’re a freelancer, you’re 50% a sales person, regardless of the other 50% you really do. (It’s the reason I never became an IT freelancer, since I suck at sales.) So yes, Medium can’t be too much of a time/talent/content suck for you and the other starving writers, any more than I could spend all my time on one of the “free” tech help sites.
