Actually, I’m holding Deb off until all parts are published; that way she can read it straight through. But yes, when she gets to this part, she’ll be deciding who the REAL villains are and who are distractions.

Of course, we were watching a movie last night where it was obvious who the killer was just from watching the trailer. You don’t have a major actor in a movie who has no purpose other than to show up for ten minutes at the beginning and one scene in the middle, unless he’s also been the guy in the mask and makeup. Otherwise it’s just dumb (and expensive) casting.

Or maybe the guy in the mask and makeup really was the nobody actor who showed up briefly and was forgotten immediately. Until the climatic ending, in which the major actor was nowhere to be found. Well played, producers, well played. (No, I’m not going to tell you the movie name, I’ve basically spoiled it. Enjoy the surprise.)
