A Morning Walk Without You
“Cloudy today, with temps in the 40s”
My hand felt cold
while walking alone today
not because of the chill air
(okay that too)
but because it wasn’t
holding yours
and when
you hold my hand
the heat from my
nurtured soul
keeps all of me warm
Deb is at the shore with our niece and grandniece. She’s due back tonight so we can celebrate New Years Eve together. I miss her. I always do.
